About

Built inside a hotel, not a boardroom.

KLYK Management started because one venue had 57 forms, eight Monday workspaces, a pile of Zapier automations and a hosting bill it wanted to stop paying. Everything here came out of that.

Customer zero

Whitley Hall Hotel

A 16th century country house hotel near Sheffield, with a restaurant, a bar, bedrooms, gardens and a full wedding diary. Around 90 people on the books. Exactly the size of business that is too big for paper and too small for the systems sold to hotel groups.

Its staff intranet, its Monday boards, its Zapier flows and the sales office's spreadsheets were read end to end before a line of the platform was written. Not summarised. Read: all 57 form definitions, all 2,074 fields, all 140 notification rules.

That audit is why the platform has an opinion about things most software does not, like the difference between a shift report and a check, or why a wedding's payment status should never be a dropdown.

How it is being built

Two tracks, on purpose.

The thing that saves the venue money and the thing that makes the venue money are different problems, so they are being solved in parallel rather than in a queue.

Replacing the staff site

High volume, low complexity: form, record, report, repeated across every department. Shift reports, staff management, health and safety, maintenance, training and memos. This is the track that lets the hosting bill be cancelled.

Building Weddings

Low volume, high value, and none of it was on the staff site in the first place. It lived in a Monday board, five spreadsheets and 12,500 folders. This is the track that is worth selling to another venue.

We do not invent features. We productise what the hotel already does, then generalise.

The practical bits

Boring where it should be boring

Nothing to install

It runs in the browser on the phones, tablets and desks your team already has. Add it to a home screen and it behaves like an app, icon and all, with no store and no update to push.

Built for the UK

British English, dates the right way round, money in pounds held as pence, and the vocabulary a British venue actually uses. A UK hospitality product, not a translation of an American one.

Your venue's data is yours

Every record belongs to one venue and is scoped to it in the database, not just in the interface. That isolation is covered by tests that are not allowed to be weakened.

It joins what you have

Your property management system keeps reservations and rates. Your accountant keeps Xero or Sage. Microsoft 365 keeps your email. The platform links to them rather than asking you to leave them.
